We are having a free screening of The Rocker, starring Rainn Wilson, on July 16th at Landmark Midtown Art Cinema on Monroe Drive. A free movie? YEP! All because we want to thank you for visiting AMG! What could make this even better? Well, the star of the movie, Rainn Wilson, will be on hand for a Q&A after the screening! This is your chance to meet Rainn Wilson (who you may know best as Dwight, your favorite character from The Office) and ask him anything you want! Also, attendees will receive “I only drum naked” t-shirts, ROCKER drum sticks and bandanas. We encourage you to have your photo taken at the screening in your best “Rocker” pose!
The Rocker is Robert “Fish” Fishman (Rainn Wilson), the drummer for an eighties hair band. He’s living the rock n’ roll dream… until he is kicked out of the group. Twenty years later, the desperate rocker joins his nephew’s band, “A.D.D.”, finally reclaiming the rock-god throne he’s always thought he deserved — while taking his much younger band mates along for the ride of their lives. The movie also stars Christina Applegate and Teddy Geiger and you can view the trailer at The Rocker’s Official Site.
How can you get into the screening? Here’s what you need to do:
1. Visit The Rocker’s MySpace Page and add them as a friend
2. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with "The Rocker" as your subject and let us know that you have added The Rocker as your friend on Myspace
3. Wait for a reply email! We’ll send you your pass in the reply (good for a pair of tickets) and all you have to do is print it out and bring it with you to the screening at Landmark Midtown Art Cinema, next Wednesday, July 16th, at 7:30pm
