Butch Walker will be coming to his hometown next week and Atlanta Music Guide has your tickets! Next Friday and Saturday, the 25th and 26th, Butch will be doing a "One Man Band" show where he plays ALL the instruments in his set! Jesse Malin is opening and we’ll be looking for him to join in on some of Butch’s songs too…
Butch is planning to release his fourth solo album in November, it’s entitled Sycamore Meadows. The album is named after the street he lived on in Malibu before it was burned down from the wildfires that raged through California last summer. Butch lost every master in the fire that he ever had for artists he produced for and even his own music. This album is a different turn for him, rightfully so, he definitely had a tough time getting himself back to work after he lost so much of what he loved. It’s made up of more ballads and less of his glam/dancey music although he’s always be known to change it up on every release. Also, Butch will be releasing a video in support of a song on the new album called "Ships in a Bottle" where he is documented walking in the ashes and wreckage of what was left of his house.
