Born after a late night revelation, the three-piece band of sisters Alejandra and Claudia Deheza (On!Air!Library!) and Benjamin Curtis (Secret Machines) was named School Of Seven Bells. Referencing the mythical South American pick-pocket academy that may or may not have existed in the ’80s, School Of Seven Bells combines elements of dream-pop, IDM and unintentionally abstract lyrics creating dreamy-airy songs to dance to. It’s good, like the kind of good that you’ll want to freeze time and soak in whenever they pop up on your iPod good.
Supporting their second full-length Disconnect From Desire (out July 13) School Of Seven Bells will be on tour from July-October, stopping in Atlanta at the EARL on Monday, October 18.
