What’s Up Tuesday?

Tuesday, tuesday, tuesday…Something tells me that tonight just might be one of those nights you need to take a couple of aspirin before bed. Although it is a quiet night, here are a few cool events you might be into.

-Although Pepper’s members are originally from Kona, HI, the trio doesn’t play traditional Hawaiian music. Rather, Pepper’s music is a melodic and accessible blend of alternative pop/rock, punk, and reggae…check them out in Heaven at The Masquerade.

-Barsuk Records New York indie rockers, Cymbals Eat Guitars, received the Pitchfork seal of approval with a 8 out of 10 rating. Check them out live at The Earl.

-Australian neo-psychadelia band, Morning After Girls, are not new to the scene. The band has toured with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Dandy Warhols, The Brian Jonestown Massacre,The Black Keys,The Warlocks. Check them out for yourself at The Basement in East Atlanta.

-Formerly known as My Dear Disco, Ella Riot, will be putting on the gun show literally with Jean Kelley and Gun Party at Vinyl.

-And don’t forget that you can always try your hand at seeing just how infamous you are at Dirty South Trivia’s Sex, Drugs & Rock n Roll!
