Sarah Lee Guthrie is the granddaughter of Woody Guthrie and daughter of Arlo Guthrie. Johnny Irion is descended from opera singers, classical violinists and fiddlers, not to mention his aunt is married to Thomas Steinbeck (son of John Steinbeck). With families thick with talent, music and storytelling, it’s no surprise that this folk duo are so impressive. See for yourself tonight at The EARL.

Every year the folks at The EARL throw together some of Atlanta’s best local musicians and get them to come up with some music together for charity. They call it The Happenstance and it’s lovely.
