I just want to take a minute and say thank you to all of our AMG readers! We are at almost 25,000 Twitter followers, and it is all because of the amazingness of our audience! Your continued support of us means the world, so wherever you are tonight remember 1) IT”S MARDI GRAS!!!!!! 2) AMG LOVES YOU!
-Canadian folk pop singer, Rose Cousins, has won several Canadian music awards including Female Recording of the Year at the East Coast Music Awards in 2008. She is playing Eddie’s Attic tonight, go get your moose on.
-Compton rapper, Tyga‘s, music has been all over Billboard’s Hot 100 Charts. He will be bringing his beats to The Masquerade tonight.
-The 529 never disappoints, see them tonight for Soft Opening, The NEC, and Aku You.
-If you want to get your Mardi Gras on there are a couple of options I would recommend. The Stooge Brothers are playing Fat Tuesday (Feb 21) at Limerick Junction – come out and celebrate “Mardi Gras in the Highlands” with us. There will be one cover charge for Limerick Junction and Blind Willie’s so you can go back and forth if you want. At Blind Willie’s the Holidays are playing – music starts at 8:00 in both venues. To celebrate Mardi Gras in style there will be Abita Beer, SoCo Hurricanes, and Cajun Food!! $5
Unfortunately, there is not much going on tonight, so go on and make yourself a bloody mary!
