What’s Up Tuesday?
There is so much rad stuff happening in our pretty little city, if you don’t make it out to one of these fun events, well shame on you.
-NADA SURF! If you are a 90′s rock throwback child like I am, then you will be pretty stoked to see these boys tonight at The Loft.
-The Second Annual Fourth Fest at Market kicks off with performances by Col. Bruce Hampton and Acoustic Moontower.
-The Atlanta-based, Shadowboxers, have a passion for captivating lyrics, tight harmonies, and soulful vocals. See them tonight at Eddie’s Attic.
-Randy Michael, who was the songwriter, lead guitarist and back-up vocalist for The Booze (not to mention a former bass player for both Public Enemy and Butch Walker) has a new project, and is bringing his sassiness to The Earl tonight.
-Ironically referred to by Timeout NY as “Thurston Moore & the E Street Band,” The Men have never been a band to play by categorical punk sub genre rules. They are in Atlanta tonight with Wymyns Prysyn at 529.
-Lilith Fair lovers will probably be down at Chastain Park tonight where Sarah McLachlan will be entertaining the Buckheadians.
-I love me some Deadstring Brothers. Twangy and gritty, the boys will be at Smith’s Olde Bar.
