-”Australian duo Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard, aka Dead Can Dance, weave a sweepingly beautiful tapestry of Eastern European folk textures driven by themes of love, loss, and existential yearning. Known for putting on quite the legendary performance, this tour finds Gerrard and Perry taking the stage together for the first time since 2005 in support of their latest pairing, Anastasis” -Creative Loafing. -When they were setting out to write their new six-song recording, As Above So Below, Orenda Fink and Maria Taylor of Azure Ray were intent to depart from their original sound; that lushly haunted, dreamy folk pop that was born twelve years ago with their self-titled debut. They are back together at The Earl for the first time in awhile, go check them out.
