Michael Mango, Jared & Amber @ Eddie’s Attic

Jared & Amber are in love with each other and with music. So naturally, they started making music together. They have had the pleasure of serving and singing at Buckhead Church, writing for other artists such as Jan Smith’s up-and-coming country superstar Caitlin Gutierrez, and winning Eddie’s Attic 2012 Songwriter Shootout. They play their own brand of jazzy-gypsy-Americana, and look to stand out from other rootsy duos with their soaring harmonies and intricate arrangements.

Sister Act- Opening Night @ The Fox Theatre

SISTER ACT is Broadway’s feel-amazing musical comedy smash! The New York Post calls it “RIDICULOUSLY FUN,” and audiences are jumping to their feet in total agreement! Featuring original music by 8-time Oscar winner ALAN MENKEN (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors), SISTER ACT tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a wannabe diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look – a convent! Under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own.

Gun Outfit @ 529

The Gun Outfit are a three-piece rock’n’roll band from Olympia. They’ll take you back to a time when riffs were weird and hooks were awesome. When 45s came in the mail and bands from the Northwest ruled the earth. If you like rock’n’roll, you’ll like The Gun Outfit. And who doesn’t like rock’n’roll? Check out our interview with the Gun Outfit!

The Black Crowes @ The Tabernacle

The Black Crowes are an American rock band from Atlanta formed in 1989. Their discography includes nine studio albums, four live albums and several charting singles. Come support this local band gone BIG!

Flying Lotus @ The Masquerade

Flying Lotus’ albums are events. They’re not issued with a mechanic regularity and they don’t subscribe to recognized formulae. For those prone to astral traveling and metaphysical introspection they are another piece of the puzzle. For those, let’s say more ‘conventional’ listeners, the records are grand and ghostly sweeping movements – the sort of which are rarely undertaken at present. For being such a potent strain of future-thinking music, the scope of Flying Lotus’ full-lengths recall the ambition and vision of many older masters while at the same time look unflinchingly towards the beyond.

Renaissance @ Variety Playhouse

English symphonic rock band Renaissance rose from the ashes of the seminal UK rock group The Yardbirds with vocalist Annie Haslam and principal songwriter and guitarist Michael Dunford joining at the dawn of the 1970′s to define their work with folk rock and classical fusions. The band is known for including quotations from and allusions to, such composers as Bach, Chopin, Debussy, and Rachmaninoff as well as creating progressive rock classics such as Mother Russia.
