Kevn Kinney @ Eddie’s Attic 

Drifters, grifters, wannabes, gonnabes and has beens. Country folk. City folk. Workin’ folk. Lend us your ears. Well, not us. Lend Kevn Kinney, frontman of Atlanta’s favorite Southern rock band Drivin N Cryin, your ears. Tonight at Eddie’s Attic, he’ll play songs off his latest album to benefit cystic fibrosis research. He hopes to see a crowd as diverse as the music he’ll be playing come out for the event.

Chickens and Pigs @ The EARL

The plucky local dudes are proud to bring their 8th annual Keith Richards birthday bash back to the EARL this year, honoring the great riffer on the occasion of his 70th birthday. The band will front 22 singers (which sounds crazy, they know) on a selection of Stones classics and deep cuts. Ticket sales benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, a group working to find an early detection method for ovarian cancer.

Great American Noise Jihad @ Drunken Unicorn

Take a little blues, a little metal, a little punk and a little something psychedelic and you have the Great American Noise Jihad, our second favorite Great American thing after the cookie company. They’re read to wrap you up in sonic bliss tonight at the Unicorn.

Neil Cribbs and the Rough Gentlemen @ Vinyl  

Neil Cribbs is a blues and soul-soaked Americana musician based out of Atlanta. Under the influence of Cat Stevens, Taj Mahal, Joni Mitchell, Richard Buckner and many others, Neil follows a road paved with anything that grooves, collecting tales, music, and fans along the way. His first studio album “Marionette” gained fans of pure, raw Americana while his sophomore release “Windshield” provides listeners with a high-energy mash up of writing styles. In late 2011 Neil formed Neil Cribbs and the Rough Gentlemen and began pushing his sound. In 2012 Neil finished his third album “To the Left,” continuing on with the uplifting support of his so-called Cribblets.
