Jake Bugg

Nineteen-year-old, British singer/songwriter Jake Bugg has a lot going for him right now. Music festivals, a new EP (called Messed Up Kids) and multiple award nominations have all been commonplace in Bugg’s life for the past year or so. Jake Bugg started playing guitar at 12 and songwriting at 13, with less than a decade of experience under his belt, he’s got the talent of a much more seasoned artist. The Lone Bellow

When Zach Williams, Brian Elmquist, and Kanene Pipkin first decided to join forces, they did more than merely jam. The trio’s beautiful self-titled debut album dropped last year on Descendant  and since then, they’ve become an eight-piece band, played venues and festivals around the world, and made their way into the hearts of music-lovers everywhere. Everyone listening – and undoubtedly singing and stomping along – will surely feel like part of this family. For more info about The Lone Bellow, check out their website, Facebook, and Twitter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gsnrzr0Bm80

The Wild Feathers

While The Wild Feathers draw inspirations from a variety of genres on the musical spectrum – country, blues, folk – they are undoubtedly a true-blue rock & roll band.  When it came time to create their debut album, the group wanted a masterpiece. So they enlisted the help of famed producer Jay Joyce, who’s also worked with Cage the Elephant, The Wallflowers and other world-class acts. The Weeks

The Weeks are a rock and roll 5-piece from the sweet Southern town of Jackson, Mississippi that formed in 2006 when the band members were no older than 16. After signing with Kings of Leon’s record label Serpents and Snakes, they released Gutter Gaunt Gangster in 2012 and Dear Bo Jackson in 2013 and have made their way around the touring circuit, finally bringing them to our fair city for PARKLIFE. Get more info about The Weeks on their website, Facebook, and Tumblr. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Azpm7_hjqM

LP

Anyone who’s ever seen LP live, or watched the much-viewed viral videos of her effervescent performances on which she accompanies herself on rocking ukulele, knows that’s completely how she is, whether she’s performing at L.A. clubs filled with rabid fans or making a breakthrough, buzz-building appearance at the Austin City Limits Festival. She’s definitely a force to be reckoned with and we’re psyched to see her bring her distinctive style to PARKLIFE. Check out her website, Facebook, and Twitter for more info. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRtWInxI1pg

The Shadowboxers

The Shadowboxers are Atlanta own hometown boys. Adam Hoffman, Matt Lipkins and Scott Schwartz started the group when they met back in 2008 at Emory University. Cole McSween and Carlos Enamorado were eventually added to the band to complete the five-piece pop outfit. The Shadowboxers have worked with some big names, including The Indigo Girls, who they toured with a couple years back.
