RAFFLE TO BENEFIT HURRICANE KATRINA VICTIMS AT THE ATLANTA MUSIC GUIDE AWARDS
With the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the AMG staff feels that it is only right to use all the positive energy and exposure at the Atlanta Music Guide Awards as a way to help our less fortunate neighbors who have been devastated by the hurricane.
Our incredible music community has banded together to help make an impact, and we will be holding a raffle for several prize packages at The Loft on September 17th with 100% of the money going toward the American Red Cross. Each raffle ticket will only cost $1.00 (people can buy as many raffle tickets as they possibly want/can), which allows everyone to provide aid in some way.
Our friends at Local Love Loud will be collecting monetary donations, and we will also be accepting canned goods and personal hygeine items to help people arriving in Atlanta. These goods will be donated to the Atlanta Salvation Army's Disaster Response Center.
