Trashed Halloween Weekend Kickoff Party

Lenny's weekly Trashed Dance Party adds a special twist to start Halloween weekend. The night starts off with Maximum Rock 'n Roll , a Ramones cover band, followed by a rock off featuring T. Rex versus The Kinks (the locals in Ocha La Rocha and Variac will fill the roles). The night continues with guest DJs kicking out the jams late into the night. Cover is $7.00.
Decatur Social Club "Zombie Attack"

Zombie Attack at DSCKISS Atlanta's Decatur Social Club at Azul will be hosting their Zombie Attack Halloween celebration. The party kicks off at 11pm and goes on until 4am. The event is free before 1am, and only $2.00 afterwards. KISS Atlanta's resident DJ Preston Craig will be spinning, along with MJQ's Brian Parris, Jamal, and DJ DJ Dylan. Dress up, and prepare for prizes and contests, along with $1.00 PBR all night.

The biggest name in Halloween Parties is back. 99X's annual Brouhaha features DJ Muggs from Cypress Hill, DJ Swivel , and other special guests at Vision on Saturday. Come dressed in an impressive costume for your chance to win $1,000 bucks! $20 will get you in the doors, which open at 8pm.

VHS or Beta at VinylVinyl brings VHS or BETA - who have recently toured with The Bravery, The Faint, and Doves - for an intimate set for their Halloween bash. The band's 80's influenced dance rock (think The Cure, Duran Duran, New Order) makes them a great act for this party. Opening the show will be Athens' Venice is Sinking. Also, stick around for a late night DJ set from the VHS or BETA guys. Doors are at 8pm, and tickets are $10.00 in advance & $12.00 day of show.

The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia will be hosting their MASKerade Ball fundraiser featuring the guys in Y-O-U . The band has made Halloween infamously entertaining, with coordinating outfits from The Royal Tenenbaums, School of Rock, and delivering Led Zeppelin tunes all on keyboards while dressed in Napoleon Dynamite attire. This year, the guys will be Anchorman 's Channel 4 News Team. Tickets are $30.00, and the event kicks off at 9pm. RSVP at www.mocagaevent.org.

Gogol Bordello at MJQ Drunken UnicornCelebrate the real Halloween with New York's Gogol Bordello. The acclaimed 8 piece band describes their sound as "Ukrainian Gypsy Punk Cabaret," and Billboard calls the group's music an "experience like none other and one that will have you clamoring for more." For those interested in a different music experience, they are definitely worth checking out. The hillbilly punks in Throw Rag and Scotch Greens open up the show, as well as buzz band Living Things .
