When the AMG staff heard United 's debut EP "Nothing Without A Fight," we were all impressed by the band's fast paced, energetic, punk-fringed songs. Seeing them nail the songs off of the EP live at Open Mic Madness 2004 gave us enough reason to make United our new featured artist. The trio, formed in 2001, is now comprised of singer/guitarist Jonny Whiteside, bassist/vocalist Ryan Wood, and drummer Jason Gang. The band's influences range from Social Distortion to U2, producing a sound that's raw yet melodic. United are ready to take on Atlanta with a reckless energy and high-powered songs that will make you shut up and rock, dammit.
