 The Strokes have announced that shortly after releasing their new album, First Impressions of Earth, the band will be playing a show in Atlanta at The Loft on January 9th. Butch Walker 's "Live At Budokan" DVD is now available. The DVD features Butch's concert from the Budokan arena, backstage footage from the show, and the live concert video from 2003's "This is Me... Justified and Stripped" acoustic show at the Variety Playhouse Theatre in Atlanta. 99X's studios hosted a luncheon on Friday Dec. 9th for the Atlanta Chapter of the Recording Academy (GRAMMY®) and local music industry folk. Criminal Records has recently launched their CRAMJAM (Criminal Records Aspirational Music Journalism And Mentoring) program where Atlanta-area high school hopefuls can start their track to becoming jaded, cynical rock critics.
