Collective Soul and Hootie & the Blowfish will headline the second annual Drive for Show, Rock Fore! Dough benefit concert April 4 at the First Tee of Augusta, Georgia. Hosted by R.E.M. bassist Mike Mills, the concert will also feature performances by Better Than Ezra , Tonic's Emerson Hart and the edison project . The show falls during the annual Masters tournament at the Augusta National Golf Course. Fittingly, the concert benefits the First Tee of Augusta, which teaches young people values through the game of golf. The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN includes a notably diverse lineup this year. Austin, TX's annual SXSW Music Festival is finalizing its showcase lineup. Now in its 20th year, the festival showcases over 1,000 signed and unsigned artists from March 10 - 19. Britain's Arctic Monkeys are poised to break several UK records with the release of their debut CD "Whatever you say I am, that's what I am not." The band were originally predicted to break the record held by Oasis for the fastest selling debut rock album. The record sold 118,501 copies within 24 hours of its release Monday, more than the rest of the top 20 album chart combined. Scottish rockers Mogwai have been cranking out their experimental indie rock songs for around ten years. After much acclaim and a stint on 2004's Curiosa Tour with The Cure, Interpol, Muse, and more, the band are gearing up to release their 5th album, Mr. Beast, in March.
