Smiths Olde bar holds about 300 people and its live music area is above the main bar. Located at 1580 Piedmont Ave in midtown, the venue has played home to many a national act as well as showcasing some of the best local bands. It has an impressive stage and excellent acoustics.

The new 'Atlanta Room' below the main room opened in 2003 and features more 'acoustic' style acts nightly.
