Atlanta’s Nicest Musician Wesley Cook In Rolling Stone Magazine

By Eileen Tilson

Anyone that has ever met Wesley Cook always have the exact same comments about him: 1) He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, and 2) He is one of the hardest working musicians in this city. Well, all of his efforts are starting to pay off, Cook was chosen as one of the eight finalists competing for a chance to perform at the Rolling Stone Rock Room in Austin, Texas, in 2012 — during one of the country’s biggest music festivals. Cook describes his music as comparable to “Dave Matthews, Paul Simon, Jason Mraz, and Van Morrison among others. It’s diverse with world, blues and folk influences, but has an upbeat, beachy vibe that is unique. I’m a positive, high-energy person and that translates very directly into the kind of music I make.”
