Dylan Taylor with Shade Tree Philosophy and Jeremy Wayne Dean at Smith’s Olde Bar

Dylan Taylor is a bad-ass rocker chick who uses her music as an outlet to see the world around her. It’s not filtered and it’s certainly far from a fairy tale. “All I want to do is play and share with others. The highs and lows in this world are beautiful and inspiring, why not sing it how it is. For me, that’s what music is all about.” – DT

Songwriter’s Open Mic at Eddie’s Attic

For over 19 years, Atlanta’s premiere open mic night for the performing songwriter has been held at Eddie’s Attic. National and local acts perform two songs each, with three finalists returning for a third song at the end of the evening for a chance to win a cash prize and a spot in the bi-annual, nationally acclaimed Open Mic Shootout. This is a great opportunity for up-and-coming talent to hone their skills and for listeners to see and meet tomorrow’s stars.

Doors at 7 p.m. Tickets: GA $5 in advance, $6 at the door. Table seats are $6.25 and must be purchased in multiples of 4. Online and phone sales close at 5 p.m.
