Frightened Rabbit isn’t afraid of Eyjafjallajökull – Performing at The Masquerade, April 24

Fact: Frightened Rabbit was one of our (and probably everyone’s) favorite band at SXSW this year.

The Scottish indie rock band are both refreshing and talented. On the “up-and-coming” side of things, Frightened Rabbit are definitely on the up and we predict it’s only going to get better.

Thanks to Eyjafjallajökull, the band had to cancel a recent flight to California where they were scheduled to perform at Coachella. The newbies were expected to be one of the big buzz bands at the festival. After canceling their flight and dealing with an ashy volcano (along with the rest of Europe), the band also had to cut a couple dates from their first North American tour.

Despite the setbacks, we’re happy to announce Frightened Rabbit is booked and set to get back on tour with a stop in Atlanta Saturday, April 24 at The Masquerade. The Middle East (who we also love) and Bad Veins are scheduled to open. If you’re not too familiar with Bad Veins, then we have a little treat from the electro-rockers right here – a free MP3! You can download it HERE. Don’t say we don’t give you anything.

Word on the street is these tickets are selling fast – so we advise you get yours right away HERE!
