Morrissey’s Your Arsenal originally released in 1992, on the HMV label, Your Arsenal was the album that sent Morrissey’s career stratospheric in the US with record-setting Hollywood Bowl ticket sales, a Grammy nod, and consolidated his position as an outstanding solo artist. The album includes four chart singles, one of which, “Glamorous Glue,”‘ was wasn’t released until 20 years later.

Your Arsenal Definitive Master is a new remaster of the album. It replaces the original version of “Tomorrow” with the superior US Mix.

The CD will include a bonus DVD, featuring a previously unreleased live concert recorded at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA on October 31, 1991, with the future ‘Your Arsenal’ band.

The 12″ will include a rare Renaud Monfourny photo of Morrissey, and “You’re Gonna Need Someone On Your Side,” the opening track from Morrissey’s seminal 1992 album Your Arsenal, which was produced by the legendary and hugely influential Spiders From Mars guitarist and arranger Mick Ronson (whom also co-produced Lou Reed’s original “Satellite Of Love” and its parent album, Transformer). The 12″ will also feature “Satellite of Love (Live)”. In addition there are two previously unreleased tracks, “Vicar In A Tutu (Live)” and “All You Need Is Me (Live)” recorded live in Hyde Park on July 4, 2008.

The release is a timely tribute and homage to one of the most important influences on Morrissey’s life and music. Morrissey’s version of the song was recorded live at The Chelsea Ballroom at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on November 25, 2011.
