Green Day have finally confirmed that the garage-rock band called Foxboro Hot Tubs is acutally a pseudonym name for Green Day. Along with this announcement came the news that the Foxboro Hot Tubs will be releasing a full-length album, Stop Drop and Roll, and this will be out “any day.”
Of course, this is not the first time Green Day have used a pseudonym: In 2003, while working on their American Idiot album, Green Day released an LP as the Network. While the Network never achieved much radio play, 2 of Foxoro Hot Tubs’ songs have been receiving lots of radio play. "Mother Mary" and "The Pedestrian" have both been catching on at rock radio. With the release of the new album, fans are left asking (and begging)…. Is a tour on the way?
