Hey All You Shuckers! Steamhouse Lounge Oysterfest, one of our favorite Atlanta events, is just around the corner and offers up 2 days of serious fun on Saturday, February 23rd & Sunday, February 24th! This is the original and best Oysterfest in town (Midtown to be exact) and it has been happening every year for 26 years! Gather your friends for some bands, booze, and the freshest Gulf Coast oysters! 2 Day Passes and Single Day tickets available now.

Saturday February 23:

11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Sailing to Denver

Based in Atlanta, Southern natives Sailing to Denver are a group of six talented and veteran musicians often found in venues such as Star Bar sharing country rock originals as well as ubiquitous classics that everyone knows and loves.

12:50 pm – 1:50 pm
Treedom

Blending alternative rock, funk and psychedelic music, Treedom formed in 2008 in Athens, Georgia. In the years since, the trio has released their debut, “Swamp Thing” and have performed at venues across the south with their unique “swamp rock” sound.

2:15 pm – 3:15 pm
ATL (All The Locals)

Homegrown quartet ATL (All The Locals) draws inspiration from their city into a distinct mix of soul, blues and rock. Formed early last year, the band has already made quite the impression, drawing rave reviews and packing venues across Atlanta in support of a debut EP that was released in summer 2012.

3:45 pm – 4:45 pm
Neil Cribbs

With influences ranging from Ryan Adams to Ani Difranco, Neil Cribbs has created his own brand of Americana blues. The North Carolina native has been hard at work, performing in front of excited audiences almost 300 times in the past two years. Cribbs’ latest release, “To The Left,” features collaborations with the acclaimed Sam Thomas, Grammy-Award winning sound engineer, and Simon Illa as producer.

5:15 pm – 7:00 pm
Southside of the Tracks

Country tribute band Southside of the Tracks’ buzz is growing. Atlanta radio station 94.9 The Bull has proclaimed that they are “the band that’s taking the Southeast by storm.” The Marietta, Georgia natives have already tackled beloved local venues and are touring in support of their debut album “Making Good Time.”

Sunday February 24:

12:30pm- 1:30 pm
The Western Sizzlers

Southern country-rockers The Western Sizzlers draw inspiration from legends such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and Waylon Jennings, a fact on full display in the band’s latest release “For Ol’ Times Sake,” which is rooted in the classic country sound of the past.

1:45pm- 2:45 pm
AM Gold

AM Gold is a six piece band incorporating instruments such as harmonica to bass to keyboards to bring audiences back to the retro, familiar groove of the ‘70s. Recently, the band completed their album “Planning On Doing Something With It” and are gaining buzz in the area.

3:00pm- 4:00 pm
Kevin Kinney

Drivin’ ‘N’ Cryin’ lead singer and guitarist Kevin Kinney has been a mainstay on the Atlanta and national music scene since 1985. Since that time, Kinney has released material with the classic rock group in addition to several successful solo and collaborative projects that have only served to allow audiences to recognize his versatility and talent.

4:30pm- 6:00 pm
Revival (An Allman Brothers Experience)

Created in 2010, REVIVAL is a tribute group that combines talented musicians and a passion for legendary Southern rockers The Allman Brothers Band. Based in Atlanta, the band has been gaining notoriety based on their electric performances. They have had great success touring across the Southeast as they recreate the classic sound of The Allman Brothers Band with their own unique twists.
