Bad Suns – Language & Perspective (Vagrant)

The Bad Suns are a Los Angeles based four piece band that has recently earned momentum with their song “Cardiac Arrest.” The song  has been climbing the charts and earned a stable place among Top 20 lists on alternative radio stations nationwide. Formed in Los Angeles, California in 1977, X is among one of the first true American punk bands. From 1980 to 1993, the band brought seven studio albums to fruition. Even after decades of making music, the band continues to make innovative and engaging music. This album, More Fun in the New World, is highly anticipated by fans and will be followed by a tour. NONONO – We Are Only What We Feel (Warner Bros. Records)

We Are Only What We Feel is the debut album of the swedish alternative pop trio. Last year, the group gained popularity after the release of their EP, which featured the wildly popular song “Pumpin Blood,” which will be also featured on the album. Seether – Isolate and Medicate

This album marks the sixth studio album of the South African post-grunge band, Seether. The 10 track  album is just under 40 minutes in length and features hit single “words As Weapons.” Formed in 1999, the band rose to fame in the early 2000’s and have been gaining momentum ever since. Steve Wynn – Sketches in Spain (Omnivore)

Steve Wynn has been a force in the music scene since the 1980’s. His participation in bands such as the Dream Syndicate, Miracle 3 and the Baseball Project has earned him fame around the world, but it’s not until now that all of his music has been available for purchase on this side of the Atlantic, but all that changes today.

 

Every Time I Die- From Parts Unknown (Epitaph)

From Parts Unknown is the seventh studio album released by the metalcore band. Formed in 1998, this group has made sarcastic, brash lyrics their legacy and fans can expect nothing less from this album. Every Time I Die is praised for their intensely emotionally-charged shows which you can experience for yourself on July 24th at Aaron’s Amphitheater. Bellowhead – Revival (Island)

Bellowhead is an awesome 11-piece contemporary folk band from the other side of the pond. While the band has been well-known for quite a while- they earned a good amount of credibility with the release of their third album which went silver and is the highest selling independently released folk album of all time. After 10 years in the music game, Revival is the group’s fifth studio album. Steve Adamyk Band – Dial Tone (Dirtnap Records)

As their website states, “While the name would automatically draw comparison to a blues, jazz, or rock band given the layout, make no mistake; the Steve Adamyk Band are a punk band.” This true blue punk band called Ontario, Canada home, which is where they do most of their shows, however, they just wrapped a mini-tour in Japan in May. Unforunately, they won’t be making a stop in Atlanta in the foreseeable future, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy their music. Check them out online and order the new album here.
