RX Bandits – Gemini, Her Majesty (Mashdown Babylon)

RX Bandits, originally known as the Pharmaceutical Bandits, is a four-piece band out of Orange County, California. Gemini, Her Majesty is the seventh studio album of the Groove Tech foursome. Alvvays – Alvvays (Polyvinyl/Royal Mountain)

Alvvays is a five person indie-pop band who calls Toronto home. Last.fm describes their music as “sun-splashed and twilit, precise and overgrown, a gorgeous glittering fuzz-pop.” This sun-shiny band was started by Molly Rankin, the daughter of a notable Canadian folk artist, and her childhood friend Kerri MacLellan. Alvvay’s website is a great resource for everything you need to know about the band, check it out for more information about how to get your copy of their self-titled album.

White Fence is a California-based lo-fi indie, psychedelic-pop band. Tim Presley started the band as a solo project back in 2010, which marked the release of the group’s debut album. Presley is a singer and songwriter who has also had success in other bands, including Darker My Love and Strange Boys. Joyce Manor – Never Hungover Again (Epitaph)

Punk- pop rockers, Joyce Manor, release Never Hungover Again today via Epitaph Records. This heavy pop band hails from Kingston, ON, where they started their career at the bottom, playing basement and small bars. The band is made up of Paul Saulnier and Benjamin Nelson. The Raveonettes are a Danish two-piece outfit who met in Copenhagen. Pe’ahi is the duo’s seventh studio album and has been highly anticipated by fans since their last release, Obervator, in 2012. The band has also released several EP’s and been featured in multiple movies and video games. Known for his killer collaborations, Dan the Automator is at it again and this time with Mary Elizabeth Winstead. You may recognize Winstead from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World- she played Ramona Flowers. Not only is she a great actress, but the girl has pipes. Now she’s taking her talents off screen and into the sound booth and its a beautiful thing. Dying to know more about this awesome duo?
