Featured Shows Wednesday
September 29 - Angie Aparo & The Infidels, Abbie Cardwell - 10 High
Atlanta musician Angie Aparo may be best
known for his song 'Cry' (which was re-recorded by Faith
Hill), but this local singer/songwriter packs out venues such as
Chastain Park Amphitheatre. His show last week at the 10 High had
the entire venue buzzing, and this one is a must see as well. Aussie
Abbie Cardwell, who has been working with Butch Walker, opens
up for Aparo & his band. Tickets are selling quickly for this
event and are available through Ticket
Alternative. www.angieaparo.com
Friday October 1 -
Bain Mattox, Trances Arc, The Swear, Copper - Cotton Club Head
out Friday night to see Bain Mattox and his band headline the
Cotton Club for the first time. Combining rock with
instruments such as mandolins and banjos, Mattox's music is the
perfect blend of straight-ahead rock, heartfelt lyrics, and unique
instrumentation. Also playing are the local rockers in The Swear,
Trances Arc, and Tennessee band Copper. www.bainmattox.com
