Have you ever heard the expression “Dynamite comes in small packages?” I believe that definitely applies to Emeli Sande. Her voice was so amazing, and it echoed through the Tabernacle. Emeli Sande did not let a little rain damper the evening, and neither did her fans.

Emeli hails from the U.K., and is here in the U.S. promoting her album “Our Version of Events”. Some of the songs performed were “Heaven”, “My kind of love”, “Suitcase”, and “Free”. Emeli’s stage presence was intoxicating! One of my favorite things about concerts is when a performer participates with their audience, and that’s exactly what she did. With her song “My kind of Love”, she held her microphone out to the audience to help her with the song, and even the bartenders were singing along with her. Emeli’s show was very uplifting, and that’s exactly how she wanted it. Before starting her song, “Heaven”, she said “I hope you woke with good intentions this morning”. She expressed how excited she was to be in America, and hoped that everyone enjoyed her music. Believe me, I definitely did!
