If you couldn’t make it to Hangout Fest, like AMG’s Katie Caccavale, you still had your chance to see some of the awesome artists that played the popular beach festival. Back for year 2, Centennial Olympic Park packed in a sweet festival lineup for Party in the Park; featuring Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding, GROUPLOVE, Yeasayer, and The Electric Sons. Thousands of music fans poured into the park to hang with friends and dance to the upbeat music that these artists are known for creating.

The weather was gloomy, but the rain stayed away and Yeasayer brightened the day with their popular song “O.N.E.”. GROUPLOVE amped up the crowd with “Colours” and “Tongue Tied”, while Ellie took the festival to another level with her dancey-pop hits. “Anything Could Happen” was easily a crowd favorite, and her dub-step version of “Lights” energized fans just before Passion Pit hit the stage. If there is one band that can get you grooving, it’s Passion Pit. Hit songs “Take a Walk”, “Little Secrets”, and “Sleephead” forced fans to get movin’!

Centennial Olympic Park continues to bring some great concerts and events to Atlanta. We’re happy to see that the community is supporting these great festivals!
