Public Enemy Embark on 20th Anniversary Tour for Fear Of a Black Planet – Tickets On Sale June 26

Hip-hop legends Public Enemy are bringing the Fear Of  A Black Planet: 20th Anniversary Tour to Atlanta’s Center Stage on Tuesday, September 14. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, June 26 – GET TICKETS HERE.

Public Enemy’s 1990 release Fear Of A Black Planet featured several chart topping politically-charged gems such as “Fight the Power,” “911 is a joke,” and “Welcome to Terrordome.” Fear Of A Black Planet sold one million copies in it’s first week, reached number 10 on the Billboard charts and was eventually certified platinum.

Things have changed a lot for the band since then, with Chuck D going on in his politically-involved way to be incredibly respected as much intellectually as musically, with lectures requests joining his producing gigs. And of course, Flava Flav has gone on to become… Flava Flav. Not quite as prolific as Chuck D, but pretty entertaining nonetheless. To see them share the stage again will certainly be interesting.
