Rock N Roll Ride Benefitting Grady Health Foundation This Saturday

Get your helmets on! On Saturday AirTran Airways is hosting their Rock-n-Roll Ride to celebrate public safety personnel from across Georgia and support traumatic injuries treated at Grady Health System, metro Atlanta’s only Level 1 trauma center. The ride, which begins at Killer Creek Harley-Davidson, also benefits Gold Shield Foundation of Metro Atlanta, an organization dedicated to assisting surviving spouses and dependent children of law enforcement officers or firefighters harmed in the line of duty.

The outdoor, all-day event is themed “Music & Motorcycles” and brings participating bikers, bands and fans downtown to the Hard Rock Cafe’s hotly anticipated MusicFest event. Located on Peachtree Street between Harris Street and Ellis Street, the Hard Rock Cafe will serve as the hub for the festivities, which also include artisans selling one-of-a-kind products, mouthwatering food and drink vendors, and a host of other exciting activities.

MusicFest, open to all ride participants, will feature live performers on an outdoor main stage on Peachtree Street and at the Hard Rock’s Velvet Underground. Mother’s Finest, a group who created a sound that transcends musical division and negative stereotyping, dubbed metafunk’n physical, will headline the event. Also performing some of the biggest and best soft rock hits is Atlanta legend Yacht Rock Revue, along with southern rock band Six Shot Revival.
