Not ready for the weekend to be over? Pretend it isn’t with one of these shows!

OK Productions Presents: Rhett Miller at Eddie’s Attic

Rhett Miller has made a number of fine solo albums over his long, illustrious career, but none have felt quite as exemplary as “The Dreamer.” A collection of “simple American songs and instrumentation,” the album marks the second release on Miller’s own Maximum Sunshine Records as well as the singer/songwriter’s first foray into self-production. Sparsely arranged but animated with unrefined energy and emotion, songs like “Out Of Love” and “Swimmin’ In Sunshine” join together elements of classic country, indie folk, and chamber pop, bridging the space between Miller’s harder rocking work with the Old 97’s and the inventive complexity of his brilliant solo career.

General admission tickets are $20 in advance, $24 at the door. Table seats are $25 and must be purchased in multiples of 4. Online and phone sales close at 5:00pm on the day of the show. Doors open at 6:30pm.

Twisted Insane at The Masquerade

Outside of little bits of information picked from the internet, not much is known about Twisted Insane other than the fact that he has one of the hardest, fastest flows in the history of hip-hop. Twisted Insane started out his career homeless selling cd’s just to get money for food and a room. Eventually, Twisted Insane’s buzz grew into something out of control. Fans became more than fans, they became something of a cult. Not “just another rapper” Twisted Insane is the future and apparently those who set the standards agree. Twisted Insane’s flow and rhymes are so brutal and high-speed in addition to often being one of the fans two most common choices for fastest rapper on the planet.

Tickets are $10.00 in advance. Show starts at 7:00pm.
