What’s Up Thursday?

David_Berkeley-BWe are almost to the weekend folks…just keep moving along! Enjoy your day!

-Singer-songwriter David Berkeley has graced the stages of Atlanta before, and is back at his old stomping ground of Eddie’s Attic.

-If you’re familiar with bluegrass music, then you’re tuned in to some of what Greensky Bluegrass does. They’re also known to throw a great party, rock n roll, and (if the critics are to be believed) they have great songs. See them tonight at Smith’s Olde Bar.

-Warm and friendly is how you feel once you greet the welcoming smile of comedian Rodney Perry in person, and after only minutes of being in his presence the smiles turn to hearty laughter as his gift is to entertain. Catch him at the Hard Rock Cafe’s Velvet Underground.

-Adron is the nom de guerre of Adrienne McCann, young singer and songwriter who has been lately rejuvinating the pop music scene in Atlanta, Georgia, She is at The Earl this evening.

-Just when you thought Southern rock was said and done, along comes Beitthemeans, swaggering out from a dark shed somewhere deep in the pines of Sylacauga, Alabama. The name is fitting for a power trio that is all about boot straps, whether it’s pulling them up or using them to beat their way out of a smoldering genre that could benefit from a whipping or two. They are playing The Basement at Graveyard Tavern.
