What’s Up Thursday?

-Augustana will be heading out on their first tour of 2013 in a rare, stripped down/acoustic format. Playing material from the band’s three LP’s as well as new songs…Daniel Layus will be joined by longtime touring band member David Lamoureaux. Acoustic act Lauren Shera will be opening the shows…Tonight at Vinyl.

-On his new release Another Day (Eusonia Records, 2011), ZACH DEPUTY demonstrates his extraordinary ability to perform and record in multiple contexts and conveys the sensibilities of a mature singer/songwriter. See him tonight at Eddie’s Attic.

-Since their start in 2007, Yarn’s original Americana sound has developed into music that seekers of the unique see as the soundtrack to their lives. They are playing at Smith’s Olde Bar this evening.

-Newcomers, Faun and a Pan Flute, are making their stance on Atlanta tonight at The Earl.

-Born near Detroit, Michigan, Marshall Crenshaw began playing guitar at age ten and he received his first break playing John Lennon in the off-Broadway company of Beatlemania. He has had an extensive career since then, and is at the Peachtree Tavern this evening.

-Atlanta’s own The Constellations are back in action and are playing the 529 tonight! This will definitely a party not to miss!
