Ben Trickey @ The Earl

Also Appearing: David Dondero, Ryan Sheffield & the Highhills

Atlanta based songwriter, Ben Trickey has put together a full band to accompany him on his newest record.  The record, Rising Waters is a whiskey-soaked, country-bound elegy to innocence. Lost somewhere in the minutia of suburban drudgery and the expanse of the great American South, the songs wander bleary-eyed and angry. Trickey relies heavily on his penchant for desolate imagery, and much of the album listens like an old photo album on a drunken Sunday afternoon. The new record will be available on CD and limited edition 180 gram coke bottle clear vinyl at this show at The Earl.

Doors at 8pm. Tickets are $8. Online and phone sales end at 6pm.
