What’s Up Tuesday?

-Oh, I hope you got your dreadlocks from the cleaners! Rasta royalty Stephen Marley will be playing to a very “herb-filled” room upstairs at The Loft.

-Over in Decatur, there will be some bumping and grinding of a different sort at Suburban Lanes, where punk bands The Bums, Accidents, and Superpill will be serenading you while you enjoy free, unlimited bowling, from 9 p.m. to midnight.

-Strutting around East Atlanta? Make sure you make your way into The EARLto see cult favorite Paul Collins, whose band, The Nerves, toured with The Ramones and recorded a song called “Hanging On The Telephone.” The song would later become a hit when covered by Deborah Harry and Blondie on the Parallel Lines album.

-If you think you got what it takes, hop on over to Buckhead for Dirty South Trivia‘s ” Sex, Drugs, and Rock n Roll” night at Tin Lizzy’s. Rumor has it that there is a team that plays every week that no one can beat!
