What’s Up Tuesday?

There is something kind of cool going on in Atlanta these days…that’s the thing about the city, if you look deep under the overs, you can definitely get that “only in Atlanta” experience.

-Have you been checking out Eddie’s Attic lately? If not, maybe you should check your schedule for tonight’s show. While in town working on the Stephen King play Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, participating musicians Dale Watson, Travis Smith, and members of the Zac Brown Band hone in their musical skills with weekly drop-ins.

-Love you some bluegrass? Although you may not think of Milwaukee when you think of some pedal steel, Greensky Bluegrass are playing tonight at Smith’s Olde Bar, and they just might change your mind.

-When we put together last year’s Atlanta Music Roundtable show at The Earl, we didn’t expect it to be anything more than a seasonal deal, just something to coincide with our year end coverage.  For our first show of 2012, we’ve got Nigredo, Lucy Dreams, and The Electric Nature, three of our favorite forward-thinking local acts.

-U.K. electronica act, Feed Me With Teeth is signed on Deadmau5’s label, and have taken more than mental notes from their mentor. See the glow sticks come out tonight at Center Stage…just don’t accept any gifts from strangers. Joining them are Keep the Noise and Street Lurkin.

-Soft rocker, Daughtry, will be wooing the American Idol mamas at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center.
