I just knew that Old Man Winter would return!!! Let’s hope this weather sticks around, cause a White Holiday Season always makes things bright!! How are you Atlanta? Feeling festive? I know I am!!! If you feel like spreading some holiday cheer check out these great events.

-Let’s face it, the music industry is constantly evolving and it can get pretty confusing. The good news is that there are special groups like The Recording Academy® that are ready and willing to help guide up and coming musicians, students, and industry professionals. Join us Tuesday, December 11th, 7PM-9PM, at Criminal Records in Little 5 Points for an industry mixer that will introduce you to the benefits of becoming a Recording Academy member, aka Grammy Member. Mix and mingle with some of Atlanta’s top industry professionals.

-Creativity educator, former museum curator, visual artist, actor/storyteller, festival emcee and recipient of the 2009 Folk Alliance Far-West Performer of the Year, Joe Craven has made music with many folks ranging from multi-string instrumentalist David Lindley to Blues slide guitar master Roy Rogers to Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia and groups from Psychograss to The Persuasions to The Horseflies. Tonight at Steve’s Live Music.
