-Let’s face it, the music industry is constantly evolving and it can get pretty confusing. The good news is that there are special groups like The Recording Academy® that are ready and willing to help guide up and coming musicians, students, and industry professionals. Join us Tuesday, December 11th, 7PM-9PM, at Criminal Records in Little 5 Points for an industry mixer that will introduce you to the benefits of becoming a Recording Academy member, aka Grammy Member. Mix and mingle with some of Atlanta’s top industry professionals.

THE LONE BELLOW, a rustic Brooklyn trio with bluesy gospel influences, discover the age-old wisdom behind “nice guys finish last” in their video for “You Never Need Nobody.” See them tonight at Eddie’s Attic!

-Creativity educator, former museum curator, visual artist, actor/storyteller, festival emcee and recipient of the 2009 Folk Alliance Far-West Performer of the Year, Joe Craven has made music with many folks ranging from multi-string instrumentalist David Lindley to Blues slide guitar master Roy Rogers to Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia and groups from Psychograss to The Persuasions to The Horseflies. Tonight at Steve’s Live Music.
