Magoo’s Heros, The Smiffs (VA Smith’s cover band), Lust @ 529

Enjoy some beer and a night of live music featuring three awesome bands at your favorite East Atlanta bar! Entry is $5 at the door.

Pacific Dub @ The Masquerade

Pacific Dub is one of the youngest and newest bands to solidify themselves as professionals within the Reggae-Rock scene. Combining catchy chorus’s, heavy rock n’ roll guitar melodies, and smooth hip-hop and reggae rhythms are all significant characteristics that add to Pacific Dub’s coastal vibe, and genuine objective of creating innovative alternative-rock-reggae while sharing a message of love and peace.

Swing Out Sister @ Variety Playhouse

Although Swing Out Sister’s music is unashamedly commercial pop, their impeccable indie credentials, jazz-tinged arrangements, and knack for clever hooks move them closer to the indie dance territory of St. Etienne or late period Everything But the Girl than to the cookie-cutter dance-pop of Kylie Minogue or Paula Abdul.

Phish @ Verizon Wireless Amphitheater

American rock band, Phish, noted for their musical improvisation, extended jams, exploration of music across genres, and loyal fan base hit the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater tonight for their first of two performances in Atlanta. Rain or shine, this show is going to blow your mind!
