CommunicAID+Nation Benefit featuring The Shadowboxers, Daniel DeWitt, and Faye Webster @ Eddie’s Attic

CommunicAID+Nation was founded as a non-profit organization in Atlanta, GA in 2012 as a way to provide resources and support for individuals with communication needs. By offering access to direct and affordable services, providing financial assistance, and by supplying assistive technology devices, CommuncAID+Nation enables individuals with communication disorders to access the world around them. We encourage people to find their voices and we advocate within the community and local government to create change. We feel strongly that everyone deserves to be heard.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $15 at the door. Table seats are $12.50 and must be purchased in multiples of 4. Online and phone sales close at 5pm.

Brave Combo @ Smith’s Olde Bar

Trying to describe Brave Combo’s music requires a pretty extensive vocabulary – at least when it comes to musical styles. For the past three decades the Denton, Texas based quintet has perfected a world music mix that includes salsa, meringue, rock, cumbia, conjunto, polka, zydeco, classical, cha cha, the blues and more.

The Locksmyth w/ England in 1819 @ the EARL

The Locksmyth is an Avant-Garde Blues Rock band from Atlanta, Ga. It is led by it’s founder and chief songwriter Ethan Gabriel Jack, who formed the group in early 2012 after leaving Atlanta Prog outfit A:THE COLOR. It has quickly grown into a collective of some of Atlanta’s greatest players including Sam Harrison formerly of the late GUN PARTY; Josh Yoder, Graham Yoder, and Andres Miller of JUNGOL; and Jeremy Cash Dollar formerly of A:THE COLOR.

Skymatic – EP Release Show w/ KiRiKi, Nic Aston, and Triz @ Drunken Unicorn

Launched in January 2013 and based out of Atlanta, Skymatic serves up a fresh melodic electronic music experience with live violin, guitar and synth/piano. JiRiKi, aka Danielle Johnson, Producer/DJ from Atlanta,GA and roots in Miami, FL. Danielle started her musical journey playing classical piano and singing chorus as a child. Young rapper and producer Nic Astore has landed on the music scene to make some noise. And Triz is here for the epic party!
