Friday, January 17 – Those Darlins @ The EARL

Those Darlins entered the public eye in 2008, announcing themselves a gang of resilient outsiders, each a misfit of Southern upbringing. Their debut let the world know they weren’t just anybody’s darlings; if you didn’t want them in all their wild glory, you didn’t have to hang. Following a spikier second album, Jessi, Nikki, and Linwood set out to uncover the complicated nature of themselves as individuals and as a band. The result is a new sound and a new record they’ll showcase Friday night at the EARL.

Doors at 9pm. Tickets are $10 in advance. Online and phone sales end at 6pm.
