Friday, February 21- Hospitality w/Air Waves & Sex BBQ @ 529

Amber Papini (guitar, vocals), Brian Betancourt (bass), and Nathan Michel (drums) are an indie-pop trio from Brooklyn, NY. They supplement their performances with strategically placed strings, synthesizers, and drum machines that promise take you on an unforgettable musical journey.

Friday, February 21- Leslie and the Ly’s w/Boone County Comedy @ The EARL

Leslie and the LY’s is a pop music band from Ames, Iowa, that began as an open mic trio in 2004. Front-woman Leslie Hall, also known as Mother Gem, composes all of the music herself generally using the Apple Computer program GarageBand. Make sure you check out the Mobile Museum of Gem Sweaters, which doubles both as the band’s official tour vehicle and gift shop and museum.

Singer/Songwriter, Liz Longley, best known for her stop-you-in-your-tracks voice has steadily developed a reputation as an accomplished songwriter, crafting intimately personal portraits through her music. Recently graduated from Boston’s renown Berklee College of Music, and Liz has since then moved to Nashville where she manages her never ending touring schedule all without the help of a label or booking agent.

Nine Times Blue is an alternative rock band from Atlanta, GA, who since the release of their first album, Falling Slowly, back in November 2012, have been selling out shows around the area and have continued to enjoy strong radio support around the world for their single, “Falling Slowly”. Opening for national touring bands, including Plain White T’s, Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers and Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, Nine Times Blue has gained a reputation for an energetic, powerful live show that hooks the audience from the first note.

Rhonda Vincent is one of the most awarded artists in all of bluegrass music including a record breaking 10 consecutive SPBGMA Entertainer of the Year Awards and 7 consecutive IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year Awards. Gene Watson who began his professional career in 1962, is one of the greatest living country vocalists.

Saturday, February 22- Allgood w/The Bitteroots @ Smith’s Olde Bar

Allgood originally from Athens, GA, got together in 1988, and developed quite the following as a result of their constant touring in the U.S. Endless gigging, constantly changing set lists and long improvisational jams gave the band their chops. They took a break in 1995, but reformed after a 8 year hiatus with three of the original members. Allgood is currently booking dates, writing songs, and have plans to release more music for download and purchase.
