AMG Weekend Picks: The Beach Boys, Travis Tritt, The Black Lips & More!

It’s football time again! Besides the sea of Red & Black that will now be flooding our city, it is the Falcons kick off game! Fortunately for us Atlantans who can’t fly to watch the Dirty Birds, there are a ton of cool music events happening this weekend, and with this cooler weather happening, there is no excuse not to put on your most tattered jean jacket and hit the clubs.

Get your California groove on with these Grapes! Even though they may be raisins, this is still a show to see!

Friday, September 9 – The Dirty Guv’nahs at Smiths Olde Bar

This band has quite the little buzz about them, and will be completely packed full of neo-alt-country folk. Plenty of suspenders in this room!

If you are a Ben Folds Five Fan raise your hand! Ok everyone, then you have no excuse not to see former BFF drummer,Darren Jessee’s new band, Hotel Lights.
