Bits and Bobs: The Booze, Record Store Day, Chris Cornell, Coachella, J. Mascis

– Atlanta rock ‘n’ rollers The Booze return with a new album At Maximum Volume on March 8. You can get a taste for the album with a free download of the first single, “Kick Me Where It Hurts” HERE.

– Record Store Day returns for another year of exclusive releases, rockin’ instores and indie music celebration on April 16. We can’t wait to hear what the music nerds have lined up for us this year!

– Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell starts his first solo tour in April and will stop off at Center Stage on April 5. Tickets go on sale February 4.

– The Coachella lineup has just been announced, and it looks like the usual suspects of Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, Kanye West and The Strokes will be headlining. Other acts of interest: Robyn, Lauryn Hill, Death From Above 1979, Duran Duran, Suede, and our very own Cee-Lo. The festival takes place at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California on April 15-17.

– Legendary indie rocker J. Mascis plays The EARL on April 7. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 21 at 10 a.m.
