Casual Cadenza is a four-piece rock/jam band hailing from Atlanta, GA with roots in Athens, GA. Feel-good music is what the band is all about. Their style is grounded largely in a southern-influenced sound, with elements of fusion beats and pop songwriting. The band’s instrumentation includes DJ Rees on electric guitar and vocals, Bob Constable on drums, Jimmy Hadaway on bass and vocals, and Greg Jankoski on organ and piano. High energy peaks and improvisation are the name of the game.
I.R.E., Intello Rhythm Eclectic, is a 7-piece reggae & funk-flavored rock band from Atlanta, whose stage energy and stimulating songwriting offer a positive message that is both easy to listen to and thought-provoking. With a loyal fan base, two studio albums, and a string of successful shows and festivals throughout the Southeast since 2008, I.R.E.‘s style continues to attract all ages, genders, and tastes with a signature sound-and-visual art performance that’s “pure poetry in motion” (Giuseppe Maestro Colato, Dirty South TV).
Core members Amy Middleton, Troy Richmond, and Daniel Taylor have been carrying the band from the beginning as I.R.E. got their start in the reggae scene. They established themselves as rock-reggae mainstays across the Southeast by playing at festivals such as Camp Reggae and Irie Vibes Music Festival, to name a few. In 2014, I.R.E. began working on their second album, and thoughtfully began crafting the concept behind it. They wanted to keep the originality that they began with, while also expanding their message to a more personally / socially-conscious message. Seeking new talent to bring this vision to life newcomers Tommy Hunter (Guitar), Tim Fash (Saxaphone) and Kyle Watkins (Drums) joined the lineup. 2015 brought significant exposure supporting such major acts as The Wailers, Lee “Scratch” Perry, The Dirty Heads, and Sticky Fingers; including performances at Atlanta’s newest premiere venue Terminal West, (capacity 650) and a sold-out Heaven stage at The Masquerade (capacity 1,000).
The Lively Exchange – We’re an American band, bursting at the seams with southern-influenced, real American music.
