What’s Up Monday 7/28

Start off your week right with one of these amazing events happening tonight!

What Made Milwaukee Famous @ Smith’s Olde Bar

What Made Milwaukee Famous has been a stalwart of the Austin music scene since their inception in 2003. Singer/Songwriter Michael Kingcaid has employed a diverse range of musicians in the past decade, priding the band on not being backed into any corners, stylistically. WMMF has returned with their third full-length album You Can’t Fall Off The Floor that picks up right where they left off; uniting powerful, anthemic hooks with lush instrumentation and poignant libretto.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 on the day of the show. Show starts at 8pm. Online, phone and outlet sales close at 2pm.

Songwriter’s Open Mic @ Eddie’s Attic

For over 19 years, we’ve hosted Atlanta’s premiere SONGWRITER’S OPEN MIC for the performing songwriter. National and local acts perform 2 songs each, with 3 finalists returning for a third song at the end of the evening for a chance to win a cash prize and a spot in our bi-annual, nationally acclaimed Open Mic Shootout. This is a great opportunity for up and coming talent to hone their skills and for listeners to see and meet tomorrow’s stars.

Tickets are $5 in advance, $6 on the day of the show. Table seats are $6.25 and must be purchased in multiples of 4. Doors open at 7pm. Online, phone and outlet sales close at 5pm.
