What’s Up Thursday?

Oi. Vey. Check what’s happening in our pretty little city tonight.

-Following 2010’s critically acclaimed debut and a year on the road touring as part of Bright Eyes, singer-songwriter Laura Burhenn  is back with her band, The Mynabirds tonight at The Earl.

-Los Angeles turned Nashville transplants, Truth & Salvage Co. are back tonight at Smith’s Olde Bar.

The Cumberland Collective is a hodge-podge; a melting pot of various styles of contemporary music borne in the fiery belly of Music City, U.S.A. With six primary songwriters, a host of accomplished musicians, and more than slightly regular guests. See them tonight at Eddie’s Attic.

Oliver Wood, of The Wood Brothers, is pretty much an idol of any Georgia musician. He is so well respected that Zac Brown signed him to his label. See him tonight at Steve’s Live Music in Sandy Springs.

-Urban popper, Micah Kiyo is at Vinyl tonight.

-Somewhere between a bar and the recording studio, Miles Nielsen’s stirs up his own pop rock brand of Beatles-eque Cosmic Americana.  See him tonight at Peachtree Tavern.

-Always a fun time at the Clermont Lounge. Especially when Noot d’ Noot and Gun Party are getting the party going.
