What’s Up Thursday? August 15th

mathaiThe weekend is in sight and we are stoked! Luckily, there are some AH-mazing shows and events taking place in Atlanta tonight to make the day go by faster! So many awesome choices! Which show will you be attending?

BMI New Artist Showcase @ Eddie’s Attic

Featuring Mathai, Ulrika and Prisca. Never thinking music would get her anywhere, singing was always considered more of just a hobby for Mathai. Classically trained in jazz during her childhood, Mathai started developing her unique vocal style around the age of 16 with a sound reminiscent of such artists as Billie Holiday, Norah Jones, Nelly Furtado and Adele. Her parents, who were once completely against her decision, are now warily but lovingly supportive after seeing how people reacted to their daughter’s talent during the blind auditions for NBC’s hit television show, The Voice Season 2.

Cameron Williams, Nelson Nolen, Benji Shanks and more to be announced soon!), Clay Conner Band and more!
