What’s Up Wednesday?

Alright, so it ANYONE else out there as excited about the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” Season Finale as I am? I can’t help it! I know it is a train wreck, but they are from Georgia, so I have to support, right? Ok, so while I am at home being lame, here are some much cooler suggestions for what you could be doing.

-Oh skinny jeans unite! Tonight at the Tabernacle, teeny-scenesters will unite for the All American Rejects. Traffic will be tight with mom’s waiting to pick up their kids.

-Ethereal, Welsh songstress, Cate Le Bon, will be mesmerizing the folks at The Earl.

-Since his emergence in the early nineties amidst the Bronx hip-hop scene,DJ Logic, the New York City based deejay has been amassing a veritable mountain of collaborations ranging from the likes of: Medeski Martin And Wood, Christian McBride, Vernon Reid, Charlie Hunter, Jack DeJohnette, John Mayer, Ben Harper, Mos Def and The Roots, to name but a few. He will be playing at Smith’s Olde Bar tonight.

-2012 is proving to be an incredible year for Molly Hunt! Highlights include: Opening for Loretta Lynn, Steve Holy, Trent Tomilson, part of the artist line-up at the world famous 99.5 WYCD Detroit Hoedown with Katie Armiger, Glen Templeton, Tyler Farr, The Farm, Jana Kramer, Montgomery Gentry, Dierks Bentley, writing full-time, performing, recording, going to Hollywood and Vegas with the American Idol Season 11 Top 60, and completing her Sophomore year of high school. See her tonight at Eddie’s Attic.

Chris Stapleton is known as the voice of the progressive bluegrass band, The SteelDrivers, which he departed last spring, and now as the lead singer of The Jompson Brothers, a hard-edged southern rock quartet that is being compared to some of the genre’s classic bands of the ’70s. He is playing the late show tonight at Eddie’s Attic.

-Black Flag founder Greg Ginn is at the Masquerade tonight trying his hand at some techno-flave….See it to believe it yourself.
