Record Store Crawl is super chuffed to announce the launch of their Record Store Fortune ‘Golden Ticket’ Sweeps for Record Store Day 2018. The sweeps will feature 7 special Record Store Day titles to be available at participating RSD stores across the United States beginning on Record Store Day (Saturday, April 21st) and will run through May 6th. Record Store Crawl is the record lover’s answer to the beer crawl, giving audiophiles and music fans the opportunity to visit local record stores as a roving activity, shuttled from shop to shop by bus, and the ability to take advantage of store discounts, mystery goodie bags, not to mention food and beverage. The upcoming crawl will kick off in New York and Berlin for Record Store Day with subsequent crawls set for dates between May and October in cities such as London, Nashville, Seattle, Orlando and Chicago.
Record Store Day, now in its 11th year, is the global celebration of the culture of the record store, which takes place annually in April. Record Store Day, the organization, is managed by the Department of Record Stores and is organized in partnership with the Alliance of Independent Media Stores (AIMS), the Coalition of Independent Music Stores (CIMS) and promotes independent record stores year-round with events, special releases and other fun things.
